This Privacy Policy describes how the Monitoo software, developed by BMF Tecnologia da Informação LTDA, processes personal information within the scope of its technical productivity monitoring services, in compliance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law – LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018), as well as key international data protection regulations, including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and relevant privacy laws in the United States.
1. Who we are
Monitoo is a productivity monitoring solution designed for companies that want to track corporate device usage by their employees. We are committed to processing only the data necessary for service delivery, securely and transparently.
2. What data we collect
Monitoo does not collect sensitive or civil identification data (such as Social Security Numbers, tax IDs, personal emails, addresses, or financial data).
Only technical and operational data are collected, such as:
Operating system username
Device IP address
Login, logout, and screen lock timestamps
File, website, and app access logs
Productivity metrics based on criteria set by the client
These data are tied to monitored corporate devices and do not include personal content entered on websites, emails, or messages.
3. Purpose of processing
Data is processed solely to generate technical reports for the client company regarding employee activity on corporate devices, supporting:
Productivity analysis
Information security
Policy compliance
Team management
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on the following legal grounds under LGPD:
Performance of contract (Art. 7, V)

5. International data transfer
Data is stored and processed in secure cloud infrastructure. For operational and continuity purposes, data may be replicated or backed up in servers located in the United States, Canada, or other jurisdictions with adequate protection levels, in line with Article 33 of LGPD.

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Monitoo platform, a corporate digital productivity monitoring solution provided by BMF Tecnologia da Informação LTDA, CNPJ No. 27.826.632/0001-65.
1. Definitions
Monitoo: Digital platform contracted by companies to monitor corporate devices
Client: Legal entity contracting the Monitoo service
User: Individual authorized to use monitored devices or access the admin panel
Admin panel: Web dashboard to view technical data
2. Service purpose
Monitoo provides usage, productivity, and behavioral reports on corporate workstations, supporting:
Productivity assessment
Information security
Internal policy compliance
Team management
It must not be used to monitor personal devices or for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
3. Permitted use
Clients may:
Install Monitoo on company-managed devices
Access reports through the admin dashboard
Configure monitoring categories, hours, and profiles within legal limits
4. Prohibited use
It is prohibited to:
Use Monitoo to infringe employee privacy rights
Copy, decompile, modify, or redistribute the software
Use data outside legal or contractual scope
Monitor devices without proper consent
5. Client responsibilities
Clients must:
Inform users about monitoring, as required by privacy laws
Use the tool ethically and legally
Secure admin credentials and access
Report any misuse or security incident promptly
6. Liability limitation
Monitoo is only responsible for data processed securely within its infrastructure. It is not liable for:
Improper use by the client
Installation errors or unauthorized configurations
Misinterpretation of reports
Outages caused by third-party providers
7. Intellectual property
All software, source code, design, and structure are the exclusive property of BMF Tecnologia da Informação LTDA. Reproduction or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.
8. Technical support

9. Termination
An account may be suspended or terminated due to:
Violation of these Terms
Improper or illegal usage
Contract expiration
